A Disasterous Desk

Oh my gosh but I was busy yesterday and my desk definitely is a disaster! But what I was working on I cannot show you until next week.  But this desk view is part of a great group of ladies that are brave enough to show you their desks and link up to Julia of the Stamping Ground.

I was asked by Spellbinders to make a couple cards for one of their die collections, Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken.  I was so honored and hope my 2 cards are good enough. I have been following Becca for over 14 years!  I'll be sharing my cards next Monday and Tuesday. I will be emailing the photos to Spellbinders for them to share on their blog. And now my desk....

I have a pile of card stocks on the far left. You can see my Bow Easy and some ribbon at the top left of my glass mat.  Under this is one of my almost completed cards. The purple card front and center wasn't completed and is still waiting.  I didn't like how it was developing.  At the top center of my mat is a set of Glimmer Hot Foil plates of which 1 will finish my hidden card. Top right of the mat is one of the die sets I was given to use.

I hope you check out my cards next week and let me know what you think of them.  This was the first time I was ever approached to do this. Now to get working on a card for my weekly video!

Sidetracked momentarily by a new project but determined to visit ALL today! :D

Oh wow! What a boos to your confidence that is! I can't wait to see what you make. I'm intrigued by the bow maker - I find it such a struggle to create them so I might need to look into one of those. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #5

Hi carol! I'm sure your card will be awesome, how could it not! Your desk look lovely and busy, and oh how I love those lights! I only have my overhead light, it has 3 bowls, and 2 are burned out. I guess I better change them! Have a great week, Lindart #27
