An Impossible Card

This interesting folded card was our stamp club's fun fold for June. Since I didn't make club I only made the card from the make n take. There are no affiliate links for products used.

Isn't this interesting? It took me a couple tries to get the fold correct but I have pictures down below along with the template to help you.

And the back. Impossible you say?

So, how did this become the card....

I basically flipped one side!

Here's the instructions from our direction sheet. You just have to play with it! Once I got it flipped it was my ah ha moment!

I'm Back Again with a Cool Card!

I have to say it's been a rough last 3 months. I updated My Journey page to give you a bit of what happened. But, I learned a new card recently from our Tucson stamping club (friends got me the kit) and I finally finished my card!

This is a Faux Side Step card.  Very easy and very cool!

This is way easier than a standard side step card as you don't have to cut slits in the sides of the base!

I have some fun "fetti" that I added to the top of the sentiment piece with my double sided tape. I purchased it years ago from Fun Stampers Journey.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps called Acts of Kindness

Here's the supplies and directions:

Card base: 8" x 5 1/2" (not quite and A2 but close) scored at 1", 2" and 5".

Step base: 3" x 6" scored at 4 1/4".

Mats for base: 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" and 3/4" x 5 1/4".

Mat for step base: 2 3/4" x 4".

Adhere your decorative mats after folding the base as shown in my 2nd picture.

Add adhesive to the top and bottom of the 3" x 6" piece of card stock. Attach the edge of the long side to the center front edge of your card, making sure they line up and then attach the short side to the back. And easy way to get this right is fold your card after adhering the front bottom then adhere the back edge. You may have to think about this but play with it a bit and you'll have a ah ha moment.

Stamp your step base with you favorite sentiment and decorate as desired!

I hope you give this a try!

I won't be consistent updating since I'm still in chemo and still trying to get my stamina back. Also, I dropped off The Rabbit Hole Designs design team. I am still an affiliate for this great company.
