From Our Home

Are you ready for the 3rd of the 4 cards we'll be making at my class Nov. 20?  I'm saving my favorite for sometime next week.

For this card I used Fun Stampers Journey's new Sweet Gingerbread red rubber stamp set and its coordinating die set.  I seen Kim Kesti from Spellbinders make a video for this card but I changed up the colors a bit to suit me. I also used a strip of the new Holly Jolly Prints paper pack along the bottom.

I added some Stickles along the roofs of the houses for a bit more sweetness.  Sadly it was an afterthought so I had to be real careful adding it to not get it where I didn't want it.

Do you make gingerbread houses?  I never have but I like these!

Hot Cocoa and Warm Hugs

Today I'm sharing another card we'll be making at my Nov. 20 card class. And with the frosty temperatures we have had the last couple days I've actually been drinking hot cocoa!

This card is kinda cased from a card in Spellbinders Holiday 2020 catalog but it is just too cute so I had to use it!  I used Fun Stampers Journey's new Cups of Cocoa clear stamp set. I used my Mermaid Markers to color my images and cocoa (or coffee if you change sentiments) and hubby said it looked so realistic!  That colorful little strip of striped paper is from the new Holly Jolly prints paper pack.  It has a gorgeous sheen!

I added some Stickles to the whipped cream and the dots on the bon bon frosting. And how do you like the cool Big Dot background?  Its a fun embossing folder! There are no dies for this stamp set but the images were quite easy to cut out.

Are you having hot cocoa days??

A Special Time To Celebrate

I recently finished all 4 Christmas cards for my November 20th class and will now start sharing them with you! A couple of them are kinda cased from Project kits or Spellbinders 2020 Holiday catalog.

You may recognize the layout of this card from a card I shared back in early August but it is such a great look! I used Spellbinders Holiday Sentiment Stacks clear stamp set. I really like the ability to change the sentiments or ink colors! I have lots of the Turbo Teal card stock so I used that and embossed it with the Pretty Plaid embossing folder then swiped Whip Cream ink over the embossing. I love that look!

The silver glitter paper is from my stash. I made a triple bow from the Journey Thread Silver (I can whip one of those out in seconds!) and adhered a Pretty Flakes Accent (no longer available) over it then added a Sparkle Drop. A few Cut Rhinestones gave just a bit more bling. I recently got the new Tool 'n One and it's pretty and cool! It now matches the color of the Platinum machines.

This card will require extra postage but it would be best to carefully pack it with a gift as the snowflake accent can break. They are rather fragile.
