Warm Holiday Wishes

Yesterday I made my weekly FB video and it is also now on YouTube.  My card uses dies in a slightly different way than we usually use them and it turned out pretty good!

I decided to keep my embellishments to just the 2 red gems (from my stash) as any more just wasn't working for me. I used Spellbinders "To You and Yours" clear stamp set and the print strip is from an old Fun Stampers Journey paper pack called "Christmas Cheer Prints."

I explained on my video how I die cut the trees and trimmed them to be even. But, it turned out the little tree does NOT come from the Sparkle Trim die set but from the "Winter Build-A-Scene" die set. I'm glad to get this little die back with its correct set! I embossed my white layer with a Sizzix embossing folder called "Snowfall/Speckle."  It's one of my favorites!

Have you tried using a die like this?
