Another Blessed Easter Card

I am finally getting card samples made for my March class (3 completed!!!) and I have to admit, I love how they turned out!  So, I'll start sharing them now.

I went with the design of a card I shared Feb. 21 but changed it for my class.  I still used the adorable Joyful Greetings rubber stamp set by Fun Stampers Journey and its coordinating die set.

I also used some print paper from the Playful Prints paper pack and I think I'll have enough for up to 12 cards should my class get that big again.

I love these fun elements.  Makes me think of when we used to hide eggs, toys, and candy for our youngest son at Easter.

This isn't a real fancy card but I usually do a couple easy then work my way up to one that takes a bit of effort.  You'll have to stay tuned to see my final card as I'll be sharing the others first.

Have you started on any Easter cards yet?

It's a Bunny Trio!

This is the last card from the Ready, Set, Spring Project Kit that I purchased from Fun Stampers Journey/Spellbinders a couple weeks ago.  Unfortunately it's no longer available but the cool die set is!  I used the Bunny Trio Die Set which is just adorable!

I made the background using 2 Liquid Colors, Sweet Pear and Lovely Blue.  I but some of each on my glass mat and added spritzes of water then painted them on my card stock.  I have to admit my hands were a lovely blue, too! Seems I have a tendency to really get into this technique! 😁

After die cutting the happy easter I ran a bead of Journey Glaze over it and sprinkled some Sparkle Dust for bling.  I was careful with my placement of the bunnies so that I could place foam squares under the vellum to adhere the oval without my foam showing.

I didn't think of my placement of the flowers very good. Kinda looks like the bunny pooped out the flower center instead of sitting on it.  Oh well.  But I loved how this card turned out! Very spring-like!

Another Wednesday, Another Desk

I'm just having trouble believing this is the LAST Wednesday of February!!!! Where did February go??

Anyway, if you've been following me you know that today is the day I share a picture of my desk taken about 3:30 yesterday afternoon. I'm usually in the middle of a project and I just finished one when I took the picture.  And I am linked up to the fabulous Julia of the Stamping Ground along with a bunch of other great gals (and once in a while a guy).

I am in-between projects here.  I just finished the 3rd card sample for my March class. The card is sitting just to the right of it at an angle next to a pink card I made a couple of days ago.  And there is also a pack of vellum, more dies, and odds & ends all over my desk.  I need to make the 4th card today so I can get a class photo of all 4 samples to make a couple flyers to mail and put together my newsletter.  I do have an idea in my head, just hope it doesn't get lost.

Anyway, that's all for today's post.  I hope you head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the links.  And have a blessed day!

All Things Are Possible

When I first seen FSJ's new Bunny Trio Die Set I knew I just HAD to have it! Though the dies are kinda small they are just adorable!

Isn't this just TOO cute!!!  I decorated the Hemstitch square die cut by putting some Bubble Gum Silk on my glass mat and spritzing it with water until I got what I thought was enough to cover my square.  I moved the square around in the Silk until I was happy with the look.  I stamped the round sentiment (from Happy Spring Minis stamp set) and gold embossed it.

Some Bubble Gum Satin Ribbon and Fashion Gold Dots and this card is absolutely elegant!
