Sending East Wishes

I finished the 2nd card of 4 from the project kit I recently got in.  At first I didn't like the Joyful Greetings stamp set but it grew on my quickly!

I didn't follow the directions for this card, I didn't want to take the time to get out the shaving cream but instead I put lots of Cool Pool Liquid Color down on my glass mat and sprayed with lots of water to color my base. After I got the mix I liked I laid my piece of paper in it and swirled it around.  I then used my heat tool to dry it and splattered it with Cool Pool Silk. I die cut the heart from the excess colored piece to use.

This stamp set also has a coordinating die set which has 13 dies! The banner die comes from another set, Ribbon Banners.

I made my own ink pad using the Create-a-Palette pad and using ink refills.  I used card stocks and pens to mark the colors I used.

I used the light end of the pad at the ears which made the little cotton tail ends dark.

I think this design will be used for my March class. I will just use plain paper for the background or maybe emboss it, who knows.

Stampin Carol

He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.  Isaiah 30:19
