Remakes

A week ago I taught a couple of Valentine cards to 10 girls at our church.  They were having a stay over and needed a craft to make.  I taught these cards in my January class but changed them up just a hint for these young ladies.

So, here are my remakes as I had one of each left over and wanted to keep the basics but didn't want to make them exactly what I had done before.

The original card is on the left.  For the one on the right I splattered Cranberry Bliss and Black Licorice Silks on the embossed layer then added the bow using the Baby Bow die set and a scrap of glitter paper. The products used for the original card is HERE.

Here's a closer look at the splatters and bow.  I used my Stardust Clear Gel pen to add glitter to the penguin's heart.

The original card is on the left and the remake is on the right.  Instead of wrapping the card front with the Candy Apple Twine and having a white folded card base I made the base out of Candy Apple card stock and added a white insert.  Then I tied a double bow with the Twine, glued it above the tilted embossed layer and added a Rainbow Drop.  So, same items used just changed around.
The products for this card are HERE.

All these cards have now been mailed to family or swap partners.
