Life Is An Adventure

Yesterday I made my weekly FaceBook Live video (now on my YouTube channel dated yesterday) showing an old technique called Crinkled Paper Stamping. I taught this many years ago and thought it was time to try it again. It is SO easy!

These are the 2 samples I made showing the technique. I definitely like the one on the left better. But I didn't use either on my card as I used the one I made yesterday as I prepped for my video. Since this technique requires a bold or solid stamp this elephant is only 1 of 2 that I have! He's from the Wild About You red rubber stamp set by Fun Stampers Journey.  I also used its coordinating die set. On my video I said the die set was called Great Outdoors but that was the name of the collection this set was in.  Now for the card...

I made this card a little more artsy than what I usually do. I need to change things up a bit more often!

I attached my cut out hexagon to my torn vellum using a stapler. I ran a small bead of glue on the vellum under the hexagon which prevented it from showing.  I think this came out pretty good!

Wouldn't this be a great card for a birthday... or how about a retirement!
