Let's Go Fly a Kite

Yesterday I made my weekly Wednesday live video on my FaceBook page, Stampin Carol - Lots of Crafty Goodness. I used a Fun Stampers Journey die, Spiral Lines, as, for some reason, it has not been used! I did teach a class many years ago at AZ Scrapbooking in Green Valley, AZ using spirals but we cut our own, there was no die.

I was a bit rusty making this card as I didn't practice before the video. I did have a minor mishap but it was fixed quickly.

This is the front of my card.  I used a FSJ stamp/die set called Touch the Sky for the center of the oval. The kite print is from an old FSJ paper pack called Create and Bloom Prints.

It is hard to see that most of the kites are kinda floating in the air! I spiral cut a piece of vellum to adhere them to. They are cut out of a left over piece from the card front. The clouds are from an old FSJ paper pack called Spring Filled Prints.

I really enlarged this photo so you can see the vellum spiral with the kites.

For the stamped oval I stamped off once with my Haystack ink prior to stamping the oval.
