Wednesday Workdesk

It's another Wednesday! A great day to stay in and out of the heat!  But it is a bit cooler as our Monsoon is here and we are starting to get some rain (supposed to rain the rest of the week). Today you get to see my desk all through the linking done by our head desker Julia of the Stamping Ground.  This is week 581. Yes, it has been going on that long.

This was my desk yesterday afternoon.  I as working on a fancy fold card to share on my weekly Wednesday FaceBook video (they're all on YouTube and my link is in my sidebar) project. I found this fold on Pinterest. Amazing what one can find there! So far left... a stamp set I'm using with a small pack of paper under it.  On my glass mat is the card, a stamped piece, a die set that isn't going to get used, and some scrap paper.  Far right my ATG roller sitting on my Platinum 6. With this new Blogger I don't know if you can click on the picture and get a bigger view, I need to try it.

Last week my desk gave you a teaser of some scrapbook pages I was working on.  I promised I'd share them today.

The top 2 pages I started in a class I took at the scrapbook retreat a couple weeks ago. The bottom 2 I made using up the paper pack.  The teacher sold Kiwi Lane products and Photo Play papers so I followed their templates, layouts, etc.  I did use some free shapes I found to make the fish and shells on the bottom 2 pages as I didn't purchase the template packs. I also used some of my dies as there wasn't any sense to buy similar to what I have.  Since what we used were beach/ocean stuff I looked back to a trip we made to our son's on the west coast. I have to admit I signed up for Kiwi Lane's monthly scrapbook club kit for a few months. Looking forward to maybe getting a lot more done!

Sorry this was longer than usual but I did promise to share these pages! Hope you have a wonderful week!

HI CArol, lovely scrapbook pages - I haven't heard of Kiwi Lane or Photo Play but the papers do look fab and kits are always fun and inspiring, so I'm sure you'll enjoy them. I always love fancy fold cards, so will check out your YT tutorials in a bit. Happy WOYWW :) Annie C #17

Hi Carol, loving the pages. The You Tube channel sounds interesting, everyone loves a fancy fold. Bit late as we've managed an afternoon outside with friends. Hope your woyww has been good too. Hugs, Angela x11x

That’s a lot of lovely pages done from a couple kits Carol, pretty good value! I wonder if the arrival of a monthly kit will spur you into that sort of productivity every month...because you aren’t busy enough already?!! Love the Christmas tree image in those blues, what a nice idea. And that’s all I can say about that because, well, Christmas!

These are lovely layouts, really fresh and bright. Makes we want to do some scrapping now again.
Pinterest is addictive isn't it. I spend far too long browsing and finding lots of projects I'll do one day!!
Take care and have a good week

Great layouts, Carol, and I always love a nautical theme! I adore the sea. I hope it's not too humid where you are - once the rain starts and the temperature drops it should be better, I expect.

Happy belated WOYWW,
