Peace Reindeer

Today I am heading to Phoenix, AZ for the Cactus Crew Scrapbooking Shark Attack Retreat. Do not worry as we will be social distancing with 22 of us in a BIG ballroom! So last week I was very busy making cards to post every weekday while I'm gone. And as this is Wednesday and I'm gone I won't be sharing a picture of my desk as most everything is with me! The retreat actually starts tomorrow but Carol and I (Carol squared) are going to The Paper Collage and maybe another store to shop!

Yesterday I shared the first of two cards using Spellbinders Reindeer Prance Layering Set by Becca Feeken. Today you get to see the second card.

I also used Fun Stampers Journey's Joyous Bird stamp set for the sentiment. I also sprayed the reindeer piece and the card base cover using FSJ's Shimmer Gold Color Splash. This Splash gives a great shimmer but it's very hard to get it on a photo.

This is just gorgeous in person!

I added this white poinsettia using Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia die set. I used the smallest leaf set and die cut it twice and embossed. I used my 1/4" hole punch to make the "berries". I decided to add a few loops of Journey Gold thread on the opposite corner for balance.  I really like how this turned out!

Don't wait until the last minute before starting on your Christmas cards!
