Blowin In the Wind

Well, I'm hoping the new Blogger works better than it did a couple weeks ago.  I see that some of my prescheduled posts did goofy sizes in the print. Oh well.

Today I'm sharing a card I made during my FB Live video yesterday. I try to do a different fold or technique but I was still finishing up some of the projects I started while at retreat. But I found an interesting card on Pinterest and gave it a try.

Now this fold is sooooo easy! I basically folded the front cover in half to the outside. Next I opened the cover and made an angle cut from the center to 2 1/2" down on the front edge.  I made my layers and stamped them. I used Fun Stampers Journey's beautiful Dandelion Wishes red rubber stamp set for this card. I also splattered some of their Cool Pool Silk on the layers before adhering to my card base.

I splattered all layers with Cool Pool Silk. It's hard to see but I added a drop of Nuvo Jewel Drops Sea Breeze to the center of the big dandelions.

They are so subtle! But gorgeous!
