Shark Chum

I was trying to come up with an idea for my weekly Wednesday video and found an interesting fold on Pinterest made by QBee's Quest.  Today I'll share my first card made using this fold but yesterday you got to see my 2nd card! And there is even a video on how I made it.

Now, this card is VERY simple and basic. No frills. I really was struggling with being productive Tuesday morning when I made this but as the morning went on I got into it.

I wanted to use my Fun Stampers Journey's Shark Attack red rubber stamp set and coordinating die set as I'll be going to a scrapbook retreat soon and Shark Attack is the theme of the retreat! I need a few cards to give to friends attending.  I like how the closed card gives no hint at the fun fold.

So, if you seen yesterday's post you would know this. But you can see just how simple this card is.

Here's the full card. Very simple. No frills.  I really like yesterday's card as it was more of what I had in mind.  Two things I changed was the size of the inside white folded piece and to pop the focal point on the circle.

Yep, I don't know what I was thinking but I glued down the bucket instead of popping it up. I did use a red glitter pen on the bucket contents. I stamped the cover with a FSJ background stamp called Deco Wall. It kinda looks like waves, kinda.  The dots are from my stash. I used my craft knife to cut out the inside of the pail handle as I wanted it to look more like a handle.

I hope whoever gets this card will like it. I do have a great grandson who will if I end up saving it for him.
