Bouquet on an Easel

I started this cool Diamond Easel card a few weeks ago and kept getting side tracked getting it finished! But I did last week as I worked to get a bunch of cards made and posts scheduled for later this week. You see.... I'm going on a scrapbook retreat put on by Cactus Crew Scrapbooking! This one actually got ok'd by the hotel in Phoenix, AZ!! I'm so excited!!!

This card was time consuming and I had to watch a couple videos shared on Pinterest. A friend told me about this card WAY back when and I just had to make it!

Oh my gosh isn't this GORGEOUS!!  The only thing I would have changed is the thread under the bouquet. I should have used Fresh Sage instead of Rustic Rose. Oh well. The flowers are from Fun Stamper's Journey's Cottage Bouquet red rubber stamp set and coordinating die set.

I used a 6" x 12" piece of white card stock but you can use a couple smaller pieces (except you do need 6" wide) to make the 12". It does fold flat but you do need an envelope to fit a 6" square card and it will take extra postage.

Under the top flap is a place to write your personal note.

I colored my flowers using FSJ's Color Burst pencils. The cool centers were made with Journey Glaze and a product called Suze Weinberg's Mini Mosaics. This is the cracked corn color. I actually met her many years ago and she autographed a book of hers that I have! Very talented lady!

I fussy cut my sentiment then used my Stardust Clear Gel pen on the Smile. A few FSJ Meadow Pearls finished the card.

I hope you had a wonderful 4th and got to celebrate it with family or friends.  We stayed home as AZ has almost got us back on lock down. And picnic places were filled.
