It's Snome Time!

Today is the first day of the Cactus Crew Scrapbooking retreat!! I will be sharing photos on my FaceBook page, Stampin Carol - Lots of Crafty Goodness, this week of fun and projects.

Last year I purchased some GREAT papers from Bluemoon Scrapbooking of adorable gnomes and penguins. I finally made a card using the gnomes and it's a Christmas card! The paper is by Craft Consortium.

The snowflake paper has a gorgeous shimmer and the Santa and snowman are cut out of the folder the paper came in! Sadly here their shine kinda faded in the light.

This picture gives a better look at the brilliant colors in these characters! I added dabs of Frosted Lace Stickles to the centers of all the snowflakes on the background and on the Santa and snowman plus on the hills of snow.

I think this card turned out so cute even though I didn't stamp or color the Santa or snowman.  Have to say that feels kinda weird.

But I did stamp the banner! I made it from Fun Stampers Journey's Winter Build-A-Scene red rubber stamp set and coordinating die set. I outlined the Merry Christmas using my Stardust Clear gel pen.
The rest of the products I used are listed below.
