Hump Day Desk

I was so busy yesterday working on a card then, when I got it done, I picked up my desk. Then it hit me.... Desk Day!! Oh my!  I should have taken my picture a couple hours earlier when my desk was pretty much totally hidden with paper, trimmers, and more! So, my desk to share on What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday is kinda barren where I actually do my work. But it won't be much longer! I have to prep for a video today (the card I made yesterday was my prototype). Anyway, I'm linked up with Julia at the Stamping Ground with a great group of fellow crafters as we bravely show our desks and frequently projects. (My project is on my table).

Are you ready?

I didn't crop this photo so you get a bit bigger view. I really need to clean all that GKW pile in front of my Scan N Cut on the far left as I need to cut 25 tags to start working on a Christmas tag swap next month. The green folder holds future cards for classes. I usually keep my trimmer on a shelf on a little trolley off to the left that also holds most of my adhesives, lots of my coloring mediums, and some other tools. The blue car on my glass mat is my prototype card. It will be posted tomorrow with directions and measurements.  There's some colored pearls to the right of it that I used on it. I had that package put back after I made this post last night. Far right my hard used Platinum 6.  I took it to a "Play Day" last Friday (5 of us got together for a few hours working on projects and between me and 2 others it was almost smoking! Well, not really but it didn't get much down time.)

I came across a newspaper article written about me back in 2003. I posted about it last weekend and, if you're interested, you can find it HERE. Sure brought back some memories! You will have to click on the picture and probably use reading glasses but it was fun. I was a human interest story. I don't even remember how this all came about.

So, I hope you're having a good week. And I hope you'll head over to Julia's and check out the great group of gals. God bless you and give you a wonderful rest of the week!

Hi Carol. Have sneaked a peek at some of your videos, and at your newspaper article... well done! Hope today's video has gone well.
Love the Scripture at the bottom. What a fabulous word "vaults" - what a picture it gives.Speed, haste, secure, strong...
Take care. God bless.

Your desk still looks pretty active to me Carol, I always forget to take pictures whilst crafting, for DT work I have to make a note on stages to try help me remember.. The Christmas tag swap sounds fun, 25 is a big amount.
Have fun & thanks for sharing WoywW Tracey #5

Your desk looks pretty busy to me, Carol! Isn't it scary how quickly these Wednesdays come around? When the last one feels like only yesterday, it's not surprising one forgets, is it.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Sorry I’m late! Loving the uncropped shot. You’ve made me think I need another trolley now, so I can keep my adhesives and stickies in the top tray. Oh goodness! You’ll have done the video by now, so I’ll catch it up over the weekend I hope. Love the newspaper article...you still are a human interest story btw!! Xx

I love this peek at your desk - I'm figuring out how to film with my new phone this weekend, I used to film with an 'old fashioned' video camera but a phone is much lighter to handle, just need to find out how to hang it above my workdesk (I think I need a new 'tripod' kinda thingie....) Thanks for visiting my blog the other day, have a wonderful weekend. Stay safe. Love from the Netherlands. Marit #1
