Blessed

I've been working hard on getting the 4 sample cards done for my October class to show at my September class.  My gals love seeing the next month's class cards before they sign up but I know many of them will sign up just by seeing my newsletter.

One of my gals wanted to make a slimline card so that is what I made.  I don't have any specific slimline dies and Spellbinders hasn't come out with any yet though I've been hearing something is coming.

I totally forgot until I started looking through my big basket of dies that I had the Journey Rectangles Long die set. That red layer is 6" long! Perfect! I used Fun Stampers Journey's Zen Leaves and coordinating die set. I use a white card base and build on it. As you know I used my ATG adhesive roller as I've had it for years and love it!

I actually seen a card on Pinterest that inspired mine but it wasn't a slimline. So I adapted the basic idea to this. Not bad, I think.

Have you made any slimline cards?  I made these years ago but I didn't know they had an official name.
