Another Wednesday, Another Desk

Well, I missed showing you my desk last week as a friend and I joined a friend at Cracker Barrel in Marana, AZ for lunch. Wednesday is the only day they serve Broccoli Cheddar Chicken. Oh my gosh, but that is delicious!! So, I'm back today to join with a group of other crafters as we share what our desks look like either this morning or, like me, yesterday afternoon. And we all link up with our head desker, Julia and the Stamping Ground. This is week 588.

I have a pile of Thanksgiving stamps on the far left under the roll of foam tape. There is a package of black card stock sitting partially on top of it.  On the center of my glass mat is a card I just finished trying a new to me idea. I'll be sharing it on my blog Friday with pictures, etc. And to the right are some Halloween die sets. I took this picture yesterday late afternoon after I finished my card. I will be working this morning on prepping another to make on video.

So, back to the grind.  Our temperatures are finally supposed to give us a short break. Yesterday our sky seemed real smoky yet the wind didn't clear it out. I think the smoke is from California since the wind is out of the west. Ugh. We need rain.  Anyway, I hope you head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the other desks!

I'm glad you had a nice day out with your friend, Carol. My goodness, that smoke in the air is certainly going on a long time, isn't it! I hope you get some rain really soon, to put those pesky fires out once and for all. I dread to think what it's doing to you all, breathing in all that horrible smoke.

Thank you for your visit, and I'm glad you enjoyed my post this week! I make my hummus from the pulp left over from making almond milk, and we love it - it has tahini, cumin and lemon juice in it and it goes down a treat! However, each to their own and I wouldn't force it on anyone with no taste for it!

Hi Carol, broccoli cheddar chicken sounds lovely! You certainly sound a very busy lady with Halloween and thanksgiving cards on the go. Thanks for stopping by earlier. My little painting helpers had a great time - we baked cakes after, and they scoffed most of them! Have a lovely week, take care Heather xx #14

HI Carol, I feel so bad for you in AZ with the heat and the smoke. Some of the fires in CA are right where I grew up - so sad, I love the redwoods, but I guess they have survived for the most part, thankfully. Your desk looks nice and welcoming! Thanksgiving stamps? I think I might have only 1 or 2! It might be fun this year to make Thanksgiving cards a many people may not be able to have it with family. Ours is early, on Oct 12 this year, but I'm always very nostalgic in November when yours rolls around! Thanks for your visit, have a great week! Lindart #3

Hi Carol! I look forward to seeing your new card. I also am curious about your Halloween dies. I don't make much Halloween cards but trying to be better this year. So inspiration is a must. Thanks for the visit and have a wonderful weekend!
