Full Hearts

I'm trying to get a jump start on the cards we'll be making at my October class, yes, October.  I like to have all my samples ready to show a month early so I want all 4 projects done by Sept. 26 when we make our Halloween cards. Today I'm sharing the 2nd card.

This one is a bit more complicated but not much.

Then again, maybe it isn't. Here is the post for the first card....

I used Spellbinders/Fun Stampers Journey's Thankful Friends red rubber stamp set but not it's coordinating die set. The print paper is from an old pack from FSJ called Fall Fest Prints.  I'm trying to use up as much as I can of the old stock.

The button is from my stash, from a "Box o' Buttons" I purchased when I was a demonstrator for The Angel Company (closed 2011) many years ago.  I'll probably have to tie the thread on the button for many of my gals as their fingers aren't quite as nimble as mine.

I decided to take a picture of my desk as I was making this card.  I usually go through quite a process working my elements together to decided what I think works best together.

I tried different dies to use instead of the button first. Didn't like what I had. Then I tried leaf shaped buttons next to the twine. Nope. Then I remembered my Box o' Buttons. Yep. But then I used Natural Thread instead of the Twine because I wanted to tie a bow through my button.

What does your desk look like when you're creating a card? I did clean my desk and put everything away after I finished with my card so I can start with a clean desk for my next project.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  Psalm 51:10
