Look Up!

Early last week I played with Fun Stampers Journey's Liquid Colors and shared Wednesday the 2 pieces of backgrounds I made.  Then last Thursday I made a card out of one. Do you remember the 2 pieces?

The one on the left I sprayed my card stock with water before I swished it through the drops of Liquid Colors on my mat.  The one on the right, I forgot.  Quite a difference, huh?  The one on the left  was also sprayed with water again and the color blended even more then I splattered it with 2 different Silks.  I did do the same with the one on the right but it didn't help much. Oh well. I used 3 Liquid Colors, Catalina Splash, Limeade Splash, and Lavender Fusion. The 2 Silks I used are Cosmic Grape and Whip Cream.

Wanna see what I did with the one on the left?

I didn't get fancy as I made the card for Youth On Their Own in Tucson.  I'll add a sentiment inside and donate it with a bunch of others when I go to our next stamp club meeting (hopefully the last Saturday of this month). The little sentiment is from FSJ's Space Cadet red rubber stamp set.

This fun space ship is from FSJ's Space Glow sticker package.  The little blue gems are from the same pack.

I think I was given a package of the big clear rhinestones. They're about 3/4" in diameter.  I used my White Liner tape to adhere the colored card stock to my card front as it was a bit warped from all the water and color. I even used my heat tool to help dry the pieces as I didn't want to wait for them to dry by themselves.

I think this is the first card in ages I didn't use any dies! The sentiment was hand cut.

Now, what shall I do with the other piece?
