After I get done with my video, get it uploaded to YouTube, and make my Thursday blog post I have to make some Salted Caramel Rice Krispie Treats for a pot luck tonight at church. I bought all the supplies yesterday after I spent time getting my car realigned as I got a new set of tires Saturday. So, I've been busy. About 3 pm yesterday I gave up and sat down for a while.
So, I'll be visiting off and on, here and that today through Friday. Remember to pop over to the Stamping Ground and check out the links to lots of fun desks and usually lots of great projects and scenes! And to you in the U. S. Happy Independence Day tomorrow!
Here's a closer look at the background. I used some special "ink" and swiped it across my card stock with a folded baby butt wipe then stamped stars with white ink and splattered some liquid glitter.
I made this card 2 years ago and love it!

You had me at salted caramel rice krispie treats...that sounds amazing! Great independence day card. You can't go wrong with red/white and blue! I'm heading to your neck of the woods this weekend. One day, I'll have to schedule a visit. I now have three family members living in Tucson. Dorlene #24

That's a great technique with the cotton bud, I will have to try and remember that. Lovely makes. Happy WoywW Tracey #4
Happy 4th July, Carol. The card you have made is beautiful - quite subtle shades of red white and blue, and i love the sparkly bits too! It's full of movement and vitality. I hope the Rice Krispie treats are as delicious as they sound, and that you enjoyed the pot luck at church. It sounds a lot of fun. I made some sugar-free no-cook chocolate fudge brownies today and they are delicious!
Happy WOYWW,

Sitting down is ok - it's taken me a while to be able to do that and not feel guilty that I ought to be doing something else! It's only me who puts pressure on myself, why do we do this? Says she, who has got a really busy day today, lol!!!

Hey Carol! Is that an ATG tape gun on your desk? How do you like that adhesive? Does it stick well and hold up over time? Inquiring minds want to know... considering getting one.
