Dream Whale

I finally finished the 4th and final card needed for my August 30th class, Under the Sea.  This one has oodles of texture!

What is so cool with this card is that the background stamp has a coordinating embossing folder!  I stamped my Pool Play card stock with the Windy Sky stamp (so popular that as of the posting of this it is temporarily out of stock) using Beach Breeze ink then embossing with Wind & Water embossing folder! Then I trimmed my piece to the desired size.

The beautiful killer whale image and sentiment comes from the Dream Seeker stamp set.  This set has a great coordinating die set!  I splattered some Sparkle Silk on the background before adhering it to the card base or adding other elements.  And of course I had to add some Splash Zone Sequins! I thought the stars from the assortment looked pretty cool.  I probably should have added some Journey Glaze to the whale but the gals in my class rarely add the glaze (I have little tiny tubes of if) when they get home.  I don't let them do it in class due to time constraints.

I got my inspiration for the card from the Hello Summer Mini catalog which you can view, download, or print out. This card would be good for birthdays or graduations.
