Aquarium Life

Yesterday I got my new July Stamp of the Month, Age of Aquarium.  Many years ago our son had a small aquarium and I enjoyed going with him to the pet store and buying fun stuff for that aquarium. We mostly had neon tetras but occasionally got some fish that cost a little bit more.  So when I seen this set I was excited! You can still subscribe to this and get it but if there are any left over it will be available after Aug. 10.
I also purchased the Aquarium Box die set but did not use it (but I do have it!).  So here's my card..

I used a piece of glossy card stock from my stash and, using a folded baby butt wipe, swiped 3 colors of Liquid Color across it before die cutting. I did not use any sentiment on this but I will on the card inside when I get ready to send this out.

I used 2 colors of ink on each stamped item. I love that look!

How do you like the turtle?

And the blue fish??  Isn't it just cool?  The pink fish came out ok but my Bubble Gum ink looks more peachy. I stamped it twice in the Bubble Gum then added the Watermelon Fusion then the Bubble Gum again. I didn't take a close up of it as all that stamping, even using my MISTI, the fish is a bit fuzzy.

I have to admit I had to do a LOT of fussy (detail) cutting! This was not a fast card! But, I think it was worth it, don't you?
