A Cruisin' Fun Time!

I did manage to make Spellbinders July Large Die of the Month as a 3D project!  So glad they post such helpful videos! I made a card using the die this past Tuesday and fixed it Wednesday. (Click on each day for reference.)  But the 3D.... oh my gosh!  I do have to tell you that this post is link heavy and all links open new tabs in your browser.

Now I had nothing small to put in the baskets so I placed some of  FSJ's Meadow Flowers.  I'll have to find/make something that fits better. I used retired Turbo Teal card stock as I have purchased 3 packages of it before it retired and I just LOVE that color!  (The manufacturer would not make it and the other retired card stocks.)

I put this in with my summer decor on my seasonal shelf in the kitchen along with my Framed Cacti and a Bird House.

There is so much detail to this die set that I definitely recommend watching Spellbinders video for this die set.

I think the most difficult of this project was embossing the baskets. I'll have to play with this again and find an easier way than what I did.  I used up a bunch of scraps as I have a tendency to keep itty bitty pieces just for this purpose.  My tweezers and QuickStik were great help with the tiny pieces.

What do you think of the bike?
