It's an Alien Invasion!

I am so slow today getting this post made! I actually worked on a 3D project yesterday and had a bit of a failure then we had quite a thunder & lightening storm!  Needless to say I wasn't able to fix my project so this morning I went a different direction.

I was inspired by watching all the funny FB stuff about invading Area 51 and this is the result.

This card actually made me laugh as it developed.  And how do you like my prop??  That belongs to our youngest son.  I doubt he's getting it back anytime soon.  I used the fun I Believe stamp set from FSJ's recent Hello Summer collection.  The background I made using Color Splash Watercolor paper and more.  I learned this coloring technique when I got the link to the fun Project Kits for the Hello Summer Collection launch.  I used assorted Silks and Whip Cream paint.

Here is my card open.  I die cut the folded piece of Black Licorice card stock so that a bit of the die was off the paper.  I also used the Letterboard Minis stamp set as I needed a small Happy Birthday stamp.

Aren't these alien balloons a hoot!!  I added Journey Glaze to their eyes and Whip Cream Thread for the strings.

A few Starry Night Sequins added some bling.  I had to take a picture of this holographic sequin! Can you see the colors??

Some day I'd like to go to Roswell, NM to see all their alien fun.  Have you been there?

This is so cute! Love that you made it a circle card.
