I spent some time Saturday playing the new
July Large Die Set of the Month, 3D Fun Time Cruiser. I didn't try it 3D for the first time using it as I wanted to get a feel for it. I have to admit it was a bit of a challenge!
There are great projects on the the link above and I did check them out. I hope to make the 3D version next.
I think for a first time it turned out pretty good. There is a spot of glue here and there where my tiny piece moved or I dropped it in the wrong spot. I did wonder what that "bump" was behind the seat. After checking the video (after my card was done) I found it is needed for the 3D version. I should have cut it off when making a card. Proves we should check the directions occasionally! 😁 I am planning on adding some flowers or something to cover the bump so will share later what I do.
I used other die sets to help make my scene. The grass is from the
Sweet Home Accents Die Set and the clouds from Cloud Dreams. I used mostly scraps for my die cuts! Nice not to cut a big piece of card stock! My tweezers were a great help as was my QuickStik for picking up and placing such small pieces.
I think the basket of flowers turned out really good. What do you think?
