Happy 10th Anniversary, WOYWW!!

Happy 10th Anniversary!

Can you imagine a blog hop lasting for 10 years!!  Yes, What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday is 10!!  What an accomplishment! And many in this group are exchanging ATCs in celebration!  And next month there is going to be a weekend crop (but it is in England where most of this group lives).
Julia of the Stamping Ground started this and I bet she's in awe that it's still going. I do remember when I joined in about 7 years ago that there was well over 130 desks listed to check.  Now we're at about 30 - 35.

Here's my desk yesterday afternoon.

My desk has just been cleaned up after making my class kits for Friday. There are 4 coming and 1 who wants a kit as she's recovering from surgery.  I even have my samples done for my June class!  The kits are in the clear plastic containers on my glass mat. I have a project in progress just in front of my ink rack.  It's a card using a "mystery" item for our stamp club swap on Saturday. I'm making a shaker card with the large yellow flattened gems.  I'll be sharing it later.

I also got a fun die in  recently from Fun Stampers Journey.  It makes scalloped pinwheels so I made 3 for now using paper straws.

Since I tightened the paper brad they won't spin but I want to use them for decor anyway. I bet the hardest part making these were curling the sections so they would be nice and round then running the brad through them. I even squished an end of the straw then punched a hole for the brads.

Hope you head over to the Stamping Ground and check out desks.  I bet there may be some ATCs to view, too!

What a really LOVELY desk this week. How do you like the new set up? Is it working for you?

That pinwheel die must be great and a great way to use that two sided paper we all hoard. Happy 10th from # 4.

Love the pinwheels... shame everyone can't make the crop (though it would need a big space!) Happy WOYWW 10 Helen #1

I could hardly say no! but it has made me late getting round. Wishing you a lovely woyww and a happy creative week with hugs, Angela x19X

Happy 10th WOYWW birthday Carol. I am not sure that I could manage to visit 100+ desks each week, but it is good to visit as many as I can, most weeks I get round to everyone. Love the pin wheels, what a useful die. Sarah #3

You have a lovely organised desk there, and that's such a great way to dispense ribbons - I love it! The pinwheels are so cute too, I might look out for that die.
