It's Workdesk Wednesday

Wednesday sure seems to come faster and faster!  As our head desker said last week, it's Whizzday!  The days just keep whizzing by!  And I totally agree!  But if this is your first time here I join in (and have been for many years!) with a great bunch of others to give you a look at my desk in whatever shape it's in!  And if you head over to our head desker Julia at the Stamping Ground, you will see quite a few links to the other brave crafters! My desk view is of yesterday mid afternoon when the light seems the best and I have time to get this post together and scheduled!

This is week 517 and our 10th anniversary is just around the corner!  But the project on my desk has nothing to do with that.  I'm busy working on a birthday banner for my daughter-in-law!  So, on the left there is a sheet of red rubber stamps for another birthday project.  There is a roll of 3M foam tape sitting on the light base just behind it.  Then... the blue strip is ready to make into a rosette. The pink pieces are just die cut and sitting next to the fan die. Further right are the paper pads I used, my detail shears, glue, and ATG adhesive roller. And finally, far right, my Platinum machine.  I need to get this finished today so I can get the other birthday project done asap.  Our son's bday is the 15th so that will explain the rush.

Oh well.  I don't have any other projects to share but I did post an amazing wedding card yesterday that I'm really thrilled with. It turned out so cool!

Ok, I'm done tooting my horn and sharing my desk.  I'll share the banner when it's completed.  Now, please, head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the links to the other desks and leave a little comment.  Have a wonderful day!!

Hi Carol, had a look at the card, no wonder you're pleased, it's beautiful. So irritating when a host of birthdays come at the same time, For me it's end of July to almost the end of August. At least two every week, apart from one week which has 2 every day!Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X

Isn't it always the same Carol, no birthdays for ages and then loads at once. May is a busy time in our family too. It's my dad's birthday tomorrow and later in the month #2 son and brother-in-law are both on the same day! Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

A lovely card. You must be very happy with it. I have just realised that I will be in disgrace, having forgotten my sisters-in-law and their birthdays. Oops! I really must sort my calendar out before I drop any more changers. Hope you have a good week. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #5
