Flowers, Embossing, and More!

Wednesday I completed another embossed card I plan on teaching at my June class.  All the cards focus will be on embossing with folders.   I shared this card on Wednesday on my FB page, Stampin Carol - Lots of Crafty Goodness and it's also on YouTube. I found inspiration on Pinterest for this card but I did change it quite a bit.


I used one of my favorite embossing folders, Pretty Plaid, where all the "action" is taking place and splattered some Bubble Gum Silk on it.. I also used the cool new stamp set Letterboard Minis stamp set.


Here's a closer look at the embossing and the flower.  I sponged Whip Cream ink on the petals and curled them a bit though the curls aren't really showing.

I love the bright colors on this card. It's so cheery and can be used for a variety of events.  What would you use it for?
