Rain is Just Confetti

Earlier this week I started this card and managed to finish it Tuesday.   I used a new set from the Easy Breezy Collection that was revealed last week.  Did you watch FSJ's YouTube video of the release??  Just look up Fun Stampers Journey then search for the April 26 Easy Breezy Spring Launch.  It's a bit over 2 hours but so much fun!  I was glued to my computer watching!

Anyway, I used the new set called Cute Boots.  It is SOOOO cute!


I used FSJ's Color Splash Pencils to color along with a Blending Brush.  I love the soft look on this card.


After coloring the umbrellas in the background I splatted the piece with Cool Pool Silk.


I embossed the sentiment and it turned out pretty good. I did use my static pad on the Blue piece to avoid pieces of embossing powder from sticking where it wasn't supposed to be.  I did see a speck or two out of place but they're hard to see.  If you have the Colorless Blender PanPastel you can swipe it  (use a Dauber or a Sofft tool) to remove any static on the piece you're going to emboss.

Our monsoon season starts mid July and my umbrellas will get used quite a bit.  Not sure if some of those storms can be considered confetti or just buckets.  And some have quite the light shows!
