Cut, Emboss, Make a Card!

I have a couple of Spellbinders Cut & Emboss folders and, oh my gosh!  They are sooooo cool!  With 1 pass on my Platinum 6 machine (using only the platform, 1 cutting plate, and the embossing folder with paper loaded) I got a gorgeous piece that have beautiful designs cut out and more beautiful designs embossed!  I even made a YouTube video (click the YouTube logo then May 10, 2019 video.  I used a minimum of products (for me, anyway) and got 2 gorgeous cards!!

I love how my back colored piece shows through!
First, the card on the left....

In my video I suggested coloring the Whip Cream Thread with Turbo Teal ink but..... I didn't have any!  I thought I had ALL the reinkers! So I used Turbo Teal Liquid Color.  I just put my length of thread in a baggie and added a few drops of the Liquid Color and smooshed it around until I was happy with my thread color.

There was some variations in the thread color but I think it just adds to my cards.

I used the new Letterboard Minis (AT-0355) stamp set and stamped directly on my card front.  A few flicks from some Turbo Teal Silk (most because some got on it while doing the other card) and some Foam Squares and my card is done!
And now for the other card... I'm thinking I'll teach this one in my June class.

I don't know why it seems the white top is not evenly on the Teal base but it is.  Could it be because I have my card laying on the pearls? Who knows.

You can really see the cut outs in this picture. I also flicked some Silk on this card.

I decided to emboss the first Happy and just stamp the rest of the sentiment on strips of card stock then cut into banners.  A few pearls and I'm done.  Really easy peasy cards!

Check out my FSJ/Spellbinders Specials tab just below my website banner.  They are having a clearance sale of long retired products that they are trying to get gone!  I seen 15 pages of items but you gotta remember, click on the QUICK VIEW to see if the product is still available! You can even add items to your cart from there. They are hoping to clean out this stuff to get room for new!
