Making a Brick House

During FSJ's Easy Breezy Spring Launch video Kim showed how she made bricks on a piece of card stock using Daubers!  Well, I finally got to trying this after I got some more large dauber pads in.  What a hoot!

In relation to the size of the house elements the bricks are definitely TOO big but I do love the look!  I used the cute Sweet Home Accents Die Set (DI-0523) and assorted card stock scraps! And I can see that I have a tendency to stamp bricks like I write, going up to the right! I did first, second, and third generation stamping to get the natural uneven look.

I wanted the flowering bushes to have some more color so I spotted them with Cosmic Grape Silk.  Turned out ok.  And I used a 1/8" hole punch and Brushed Silver card stock to make the door knob.  That turned out cool!

Now.... what event or reason would you send this card??  Please respond in the comments!

Have you tried this technique?  I gave a short version on my May 8 YouTube video with another piece of bricked card stock I made.  Head over and check it out!
