Falling Stars

Last Friday I assembled this card on my FB Live video (also on YouTube).  It will be one of the cards we'll be making in my June 28 class.  All cards in that class are folder embossed with a couple having heat embossing.

Isn't this cool!  I seen a card on Pinterest that inspired me and I love how it turned out!  I used an old FSJ embossing folder called All Stars, EF-0038.  It is still available.

Actually die cut the star BEFORE embossing and only embossed 1/2 of the panel.  I used my large Platinum machine as I only wanted my tan embossing mat on the part that was to be embossed, not the whole piece of paper.  Worked out pretty good.  The only thing I would have done different - I would have used my stamp platform to stamp the sentiment as, for some reason, it didn't come out as dark as I would have liked.  Oh well.
