Dream Seek Achieve

Last Friday I got my 3 Project kits for FSJ's Hello Summer collection that goes live June 22.  Of course, I had to open them and play!  With the purchase of the kits you will get an email link the week of June 22 to the Make N Take video AND the Live YouTube party!  But you also get postcard sized directions to the cards.  Some of the cards I want to watch Kim make them as the backgrounds are amazing!  But I was able to make this card from the Starry Night kit as I knew what to do and the directions were easy with my brain-dead state (I had my monthly class Friday morning and I was pooped!).

My picture just wouldn't lighten without washing out the card so it is a bit dark.  Isn't this GORGUS!  The beautiful swans and sentiment are from the new Dream Seeker stamp set and coordinating dies.  And the amazing sequins are new, too, Starry Night Sequins!

The background in the shaker part is fabulous!  It consists of using dots of Lovely Blue Liquid Color and Outrageous Pink Color Splash on a non-porous surface then well spritzed with water. I then dipped my Whip Cream piece into it.  Then I added splatters of Sparkle Silk to the left over and redipped.  You gotta let the colored card stock dry and it does lighten a bit.   I love this look!  Just give it a try with a water based colorant or 2 and play!

Isn't it beautiful!!  I basically colored the branch and leaf the same way but I only used the Outrageous Pink and Sparkle Silk.

Somehow I got a spot of the Lovely Blue on my panel so I just made up a bit more and used my  medium Blending brush to splatter it all over.  That fixed that boo boo!   I was supposed to add more Sparkle Silk to the swans so that happened after the photos.

To color the swans I used my Color Splash pencils and my small Blending Brush to add the bit of color.

I hope you check out the Project kits and get yours ordered before they're gone!  The last collection launch Project Kits sold out quickly, they made up some more and those sold out!
