Thankful Birds

Today I'm sharing my 3rd birdhouse card using another Spellbinders die designed by Vicki Papaioannou. I love the seasonal birdhouses I have and have ordered the summer one (a light house).

I die cut LOTS of leaves from various fall colored card stock scraps and sponged the edges of each and every one.  I also stamped my sentiment on the cover.


Do the leaves look like they're falling or have fallen? And aren't the birds just too cute!


I used a lot of itty bitty scraps and didn't even make a dent in my stash. And my Bearly Art Glue was real handy for these oh so small pieces! 


I glued my leaves, acorns, pumpkins, and flowers to the bottom of my base then cut off what over hung the edge of my base. A few have been popped and I added Wink of Stella to the flower centers. I do have a bunch of leaves left over as I didn't need all that I prepped. Guess I have a head start on my next fall birdhouse!
