O Little Town of Bethlehem

Happy Memorial Day!

Yes, I know it's still not Christmas but I've been making Christmas cards for my July 23 class! Today's card uses the absolutely gorgeous slimline stamp, Peaceful Night, from Scrapbook.com by Woodware Craft Collection.

I went monochromatic in browns.  You may remember the same card I made a few months ago in blues.  I decided to go non-traditional on this card.  Isn't it amazing! I colored with colored pencils and used PanPastels for shading.

I had a hard time getting a well-lit close up photo. I added Journey Glaze from Spellbinders to the roof tops and star for my bling.

I used my Stamping Buddy Pro stamp positioner which is fabulous for slimline stamping. It's stamping area is 7" x 8 1/4". I've had it a long time, I love it! And to die cut the slimline frame I had to use my large Platinum machine.

Stampin Carol

You are God, ready to pardon, gracious and merciful. Nehemiah 9:17
