Deskers Day

Did my post title almost sound like a national day of celebration? It is for many of us who enjoy getting together online and sharing what our desk looks like and possibly sharing a project or two. This desk looky-loo is brought together by Julia of the Stamping Ground. This is week 622. In 2 weeks this weekly gathering will be 12 years old!

My desk is very busy here.  I just finished prepping for today's FB live video (I'll be showing how to make a Bay Window fold) and have started on another card using a die set from Spellbinders that I haven't used before. My video will be uploaded to my YouTube channel about noon my time.

Oh... my desk. Ok. Far left is my paper trimmer.  On the glass mat is my slimline card base and the front which isn't put together yet. On the white part is the card prepped for the video. Far right you can see the Magic Mat (from Scrapbook.com) sitting on my Platinum 6. The Side Kick die cut machine is very visible at the back of the mat along with my Spellbinders tool (a giant magnet that I used to hold my scissors).

Please head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the links to the other desks.  I'll be popping around as I can.

Will check out your FB You Tube later this morning, it should be up by now. A friend bought me a 'thing' for me to do my videos without involving my other half holding the phone - I need to think of something `I can do as I haven't used it as yet.

Hope the event went well - a bay window fold sounds interesting and I've not heard of it before. I literally (late last night, from bed) ordered a sidekick as I am tired of dragging out my huge jumbo Big Shot every time I want to cut a tiny die! I wonder if I saw it here one week and that put it in my mind - WOYWW is great for showing you stuff you "need" LOL!
Catching up, a day late

Lovely busy desk, Carol. I don't know what a magic mat is! I love the die cut "thank you" which is really pretty.

Happy belated WOYWW,

I need to pluck up the courage and actually film something but all I seem to have been doing lately is other people's designs! Always good to see a busy desk. Late to the party this week - stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #8

You’re always busy! That’s a great card Carol, very cheery with the foliage around the text. I shall be YT surfing at the weekend. If anyone can get me back to my desk, it’ll be you, and I’m intrigued about a bay window fold!

Still trying to catch up with my commenting! Yesterday was Mother's Day here in Australia so after a lovely lunch and lots of fizz I didn't get anything else done...

Looks like a very busy desk! I was only looking at a bay window fold earlier this morning!

Happy Woyww!
