When I seen this cool die set, Funky Cactus, by Sizzix over on Scrapbook.com I just had to get it. We have lots of cacti in our yard and a couple of these reminded me of them.

There were lots of tiny pieces to glue together but I find it fun and usually, calming. I think I got the cactus paper from The Paper Collage in the Phoenix area but I don't remember as I've had it for a while and I don't have a lot left.
Look at all the pieces to make each cactus and flower! I added some
Stardust Clear gel pen to the flowers and used mostly scraps. The 2nd from
the left cactus has a scrap with white splatters on it. What a cool
look! My Bearly Art Glue was a great help with its itty bitty tip! The
green oval is from a die set that seems to have been retired but is one of
my favorites, the Scored & Pierced Ovals. Bummer.
