A Bird on a Limb

Oh my gosh but I can't stop playing with Spellbinders new dies designed by Vicki P.!! I love these little birds!!

This time I didn't make a bird house but a bird home... that is, a nest! It's even got a couple eggs! We don't have Blue birds here but it seems most of my birds lately are blue.  Maybe the Blue Bird of Happiness has been tweeting around my room giving me inspiration... 😁

I used the birthday stamp directly on the cover again as I had plenty of room for it.  The sky paper is from my stash.


I used some left over leaves (olive colored ones) from another project. I used a bit of Wink of Stella in the eyes to make them glow and I swiped a Qtip in a brown ink to add color to the nest.  Again, my Bearly Art glue came in real handy to adhere the itty bitty pieces!! I like this stuff better and my glue pen!

With all the tiny pieces I have been die cutting lately my trash can is full but I haven't made a dent in my stash! Maybe that's a good thing...
