A Christmas Birdhouse in May?

I have been enjoying playing with the new Spellbinders dies designed by Vicky Papailannou of seasonal birdhouses and birds and the coordinating clear stamp set. Today I have the Build a Winter Birdhouse with a cute little bluebird.

My gorgeous background snowflake paper (Snowflake Flurry) is from The Paper Collage in Phoenix, AZ.  Pamela designed it and I've used it for classes and more! If you are in Phoenix or plan on visiting check out her store!


I chose not to put my sentiment on the cover as this is just too pretty to clutter with words. 


The embossing on the birdhouse again barely shows but I used my white gel pen to make the opening pop. And I used Spellbinders new Glacier card stock (the barely blue) for the bird's wings and belly.  I love the pearls on the sprigs but maybe need to add a little bow at the top of them, what do you think?
