Joy, Peace, & Love

This coming Saturday is our monthly stamp club meeting and the card swap is using a particular sketch. I hemmed and hawed, pulled out papers and stamps and finally came up with this card.

Not sure if I like my card but I'm not going to make another.

I didn't deviate from the sketch other than the little gaps between my print strips.  I used Fun Stampers Journey's Holly Jolly prints, a beautiful pack of 6" x 6" double sided prints with a sheen! I also used their new Holiday Sentiment Stacks clear stamp set.  There's a LOT of stamps in this set, 38!!!

To color the holly I tapped my Kiwi Slice and Watermelon Fusions inks on my glass mat (I love my mat!) then picked up the color with my small blending brush (aka water brush) and "painted" my image. I also used my Stardust Clear Gel Pen on the JOY for a bit of bling.

Now I need to make my ugly sweater and I don't have a clue what I'm going to do.
