Quarantine Birthday Cards

A friend recently called me about making a couple birthday cards for 2 of her nephews who have their special days in May. This was an interesting challenge as I had to use orange, their favorite color, and I computer generated the cover text.

I made the cards kinda similar in that I used the same die set, my new Sizzix Thinlits Mixed Media #1. This set is rather masculine to me and I think the boys will like these.

I added some orange dots from my stash for some added visual effects and splattered both with Fun Stampers Journey's Citrus Cooler Silk. I also colored the Happy using Arteza Real Brush pens.

Since I had some extra room below the sentiment I added a border from the same base orange card stock using FSJ's Border Essentials Die Set.

I'm not sharing the inside text since these are personal.  I also used a paper trimmer, foam tape, Details Pro Shears, my ATG adhesive roller, and my Platinum 6 die cut machine.

These have been delivered and auntie LOVED them!
