Milk Bottle on a Sunburst

Yesterday I made a FB Live video (now on YouTube) of how I made the Sunburst background. I have since finished both cards and will share today one of the cards and the other I'll share tomorrow.

Isn't this cool!! The milk bottle image is from Fun Stampers Journey's Life is Beautiful rubber stamp set. There is a coordinating die set, too!

I colored my image with FSJ's Color Burst pencils.

Here's some photos of the making of the card.

This is after I got all my strips adhered to my 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" base.  I left just a bit of card stock showing between the strips.  Some overlap in the center but will be covered.

This is the back side.

And this is after trimming to 4" x 5 1/4".  The print paper is from a retired 6" x 6" FSJ pack called Backyard Party Prints.

I was going to put a banner on this but I decided I didn't want to cover the milk bottle or any more of the sunburst.  Hope you give this technique a try if you haven't already.  Check out my video to learn it!
