Mixed Media Die Cards

Last Friday I made a FB video showing the Sizzix goodies I got last week and 3 cards made from the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Mixed Media #5 dies. These are gorgeous!

These were relatively fast cards except for cutting some of my foam tape small enough to stabilize the die cuts in their middles. I doubt many would do that but I wanted them to be a bit firm. I only popped the top 2 cards, the bottom one was adhered directly to the colored card stock.

I used some Fun Stampers Journey for the colored backgrounds. This piece came from their Spring Filled Prints pack. It was on sale last Friday. I love the variations from yellow to a kinda coral color. The sentiment is from Spellbinders Happy Sentiments clear stamp set.

This pink background is also from Spring Filled Prints but I didn't get any of the variations in it. I splattered the die cut piece with FSJ's Bubble Gum Silk. The sentiment is from Spellbinders Express Yourself clear stamp set. I got it free with an order. It was part of the Sept. 2019 Card Kit of the Month.

The background piece if from FSJ's retired Designer Choice Prints and there is a bit of variation in its color. I added some FSJ Rainbow Drops to this card and the sentiment is from Spellbinders Vintage Elegance stamp & die set, which is on sale right now. I think this one could be given to a guy.

All are Tim Holtz designs. I've already started using the top left die set for a couple cards for a friend's nephews. I gave a look at the top panels on my video on my FB and YouTube videos from last Friday. Some of the other products I used as linked below.
