Whizzday 535 Desk

Well, it's Whizzday again and the first one of September!  The weeks are speeding by with the days getting shorter (yeah, less daylight but still seems shorter) and so many activities lately that sometimes I don't know if I'm coming, going, or meeting myself in the middle.

Today you have the opportunity to see what is on my desk.  I'm prepping a card to show in my FB live video (on YouTube later) and I have projects to the left that I need to work on.  This viewing and many others are all linked together at Julia's Stamping Ground so head over there when you're done here.

It seems I started something when I posted my view last week. I had a pile (still there but not within today's picture) of GKW (goodness knows what). I can see it from my computer and I really need to clean it and the rest of my desk. Maybe tomorrow... maybe Friday... Goodness Knows When! (Julia, don't spit out your drink while reading this....)   Ya know... I'd like to meet this Goodness Knows character and ask her some questions like how does she know so much.  Anyway, enough of that - for now.

And now my desk.... (as of yesterday afternoon)

I did adjust the size of my photo for easier viewing.  Thanks, Shaz, for the tip! So what's here...
Far left in front of my light is the pile of projects, stamps, glimmer plates, dies, card kits, and the red layer for the card on the glass mat.  On the glass mat is pieces for my card, sequins, Bloom Tool (same as the Tool In One but green), the die set I'm using, and scraps of paper.  And to the right, my plates and Platinum 6.  Sitting on my other light is a pile to be sorted and put away or tossed.

I have yet to finish the PhotoShop online class.  Each class is recorded and on YouTube so I can take the classes as needed.  Each one takes me about 1 1/2 hour and I prefer early afternoon when my brain still is a bit functional.  I can do one today and another Friday.  Tomorrow I start the physical therapy on my knee after work.

So that's all there is! Please head over to Julia's and check out the links to other desks of those brave souls willing to share their work areas!

I love the idea of a pile of GKW - in our house we have 'random' boxes or drawers which are essentially full of GNW! Hope the physio goes well. Happy WOYWW. Have a lovely week. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#12)

You're right - the days do seem shorter even though it's only the daylight hours that are changing! And yes, we do tend to stuff them full of things to do. I'm back in the swing of band practises, shop volunteering, litter picking and sewing stuff, the days just whizz by!! Hope you have a good week and tackle the GKW pile eventually :-)

Yep, there’s a distinctly lower sun and the feel of it is different for sure...its a beautiful time of year but I shall miss summer! GKW has become a thing Carol, I use it all the time now!! Although I cant guarantee I wont spit each time you refer to it, it makes me laugh that someone so organised as you has piles of it occasionally! Great good luck with today’s physio...its for your own good...remember that when they’re busy manipulating you and making you do stuff you dont like! Xx

Yep much better viewing on that setting, Carol!
Thanks for changing 😁love the fact you had to get the green tool in one version.
My sister is like you if there’s a green esp like green one going she grabs it!
Great work piles that look organised, I hide my toppling leaning tower of Pisa on far left end of my desk. I regularly go through it but it never seems to diminish.happy WOYWW
