A Clipboard Card

I'm almost done posting all the fun projects I made at the crop/retreat I attended. Golly, it's been almost 2 weeks ago!  Time sure is whizzing by and its September already!!!  Well, this card was made using the August Large Die of the Month, Write On, which sold out fast. Actually the August Large Die of the Month and the August Stamp of the Month, Book Worm, all were school themed and are long gone.  The August Small Die of the Month, Pack It Up,  didn't sell out to my knowledge and may be available later this month.  I have yet to play with it.

So, I had to watch the video for this die set to figure out how to make the clipboard card. I probably could have figured it out but it's so much easier to watch the video.

I glued the edge of the clip down as it kept wanting to pop up!  But the whole clip board is the card front.  How cool is this!  I didn't use all the elements from this die set and maybe will next time I made it.

You can't see the folded (at the top) card base but I used a retired card stock.  The die cut sentiment is from the Sentiments One die set by Spellbinders.  I used the same Mirror Gold card stock for it but used Brushed Gold for the paper clip and pencil eraser end.

Wouldn't this be great for a teacher friend!!  That's probably where this one will go.
