Lookin Sharp

Our monthly SALSA meeting is tomorrow and I usually take part in the Mystery Item swap.  The item for this month is foam! And the foam already had die cuts taken out of it so there wasn't a whole lot to use!

Here's the left over pieces after I made my card.  I think the lady who provided these made baby booties.  I searched through my dies and finally came up with a die set that worked! Have you guessed from looking at the pieces above??

I used the Potted Cacti die set from Spellbinders! I could only use the pot, a barrel cactus, and a flower but my card is quite colorful!

Isn't this a hoot!! The background paper is from a pad a friend and I split that was on sale at H.L.  The sentiment is from a Fun Stampers Journey stamp set called Arizona Trails. The 3 button-like elements are an FSJ embellishment long retired called Bezel Dots.

For a bit more bling I added some Sparkle Silk to the flowers. I embossed the barrel cactus on the envelope flap as we have to provide a decorated envelope along with our card.

I think my card will be quite different from the others in the swap.  What do you think?
