Thankful

I've been working on getting some cards made for my October class to show this Friday at my Starry Starry Night class.  This is the 2nd card and I have to make 2 more!  My class is a bit skimpy with 2 coming and 3 needing kits.  Oh well...

I went with a rather simple card but I think it is fairly elegant!  I usually start with simple in the class with the last card being a bit difficult and sometimes the card is to be finished at home.  I used the FSJ Barn Wood embossing folder Spellbinders Fall Leaves die set.

(Blogger is being a bugger abut the size of my font right here, sorry.)

I love the new Golden Tansy Twine!  I gently looped and taped it to the embossed card front before popping the Corrugated Stock strip over it.  I then popped the leaves over the twine and under the strip.  The  die cut sentiment was cut from Brushed Gold card stock then layered over a Dark Roast sentiment for sturdiness. A few Fashion Gold dots finished the look.

I have noticed that I use dies more and more!  I need to get back to some rubber stamping!  Maybe my next card.....

We are now getting cooler temps in southern AZ.  Mornings are fabulous in the lower 60's with daytime temp in the low 90's.  So nice!  I do need to change out my seasonal shelf sometime this week.  How are your fall decorations coming along?
