Merry Whimsy Trees

Last Friday I did my FB Live video (now on YouTube) while making this fun whimsical card using NEW products from Fun Stampers Journey. They and Spellbinders had their Holiday Launch Saturday on the SB YouTube channel. (You can watch it anytime.)

I fell in love with the Whimsy Trees stamp set and, after seeing a cool card on the new mini Holiday catalog I changed it up a bit. You can download the catalog to your computer and print it for your viewing pleasure. I also used the new Holiday Cheer Prints 6x6 paper and coordinated my inks to the piece I used. I also used my biggest Picket Fence Studios brush and a stencil.

This stamping and cutting of the trees took the longest as I used 3 stamps for each tree, the star, the tree, and the trunk. Then I detail cut them out.

I know the Deco tape shows up black but it really is red.

I worked the stencil inking so that the color faded out to the edges. Kinda looks like snow, doesn't it?

I'm getting in the Christmas card mood and still have all the projects to make from the Holiday Project Kits that I purchased. But Wednesday I head to Phoenix for a 4 day crop retreat! I'll be doing little FB live videos but they won't be on YouTube.
