Jolly Old Saint Nicholas

I finally finished the other 2 projects I started last Saturday and here's 1 of them.  I've been playing with Spellbinders Die D-Lites die sets that I got and I think this one is just too cute!

Isn't he just handsome!  I used some fun new paper from FSJ called Sparkle Trio Specialty Paper. It has 3 fun sheets of card stock, a fine glitter piece, a heavy glitter piece, and a silver mirror piece.  I've been using the daylights out of the fine glitter and that's what I used for the beard, mustache, and hat pieces. I had to die cut the hat from the white sparkle paper and detail cut the hat pieces.  The beard slightly had the embossed lines in it but since I didn't have my embossing mat & plate with me when I made him I didn't get them done right. But in person the lines show up a little.

It is actually white but my light made it look yellow in the close up.  The print paper is some from my stash that FSJ sold years ago.  I've been using it for banners and such.

The wooden snowflakes are from my stash and no longer available from FSJ.  I'm trying to use up my old stash and I'm slowly getting there.

Are you working on your Christmas cards yet?
